Ramakrishna Mission organized a “Bal Sanskar Shivir” for boys and girls aged 9–18 years was successfully conducted from March 13 to 27, 2026.

The two-week shivir included three daily sessions of approximately one hour each, offering a variety of enriching activities. These comprised yoga, bhajans, recitation of Sundarakanda, kho-kho and other physical exercises, personality development sessions inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, art and craft, and quiz competitions.

Nutritious snacks such as poha, upma, samosa, and fresh fruits like bananas and oranges were served to the participants every day.

The objective of the shivir was to nurture cultural, moral, creative, and sporting values among the children. Various competitions—including doha recitation, drawing, and sports—were organized, and winners were awarded prizes. All participants were also given Ramakrishna-Vivekananda literature.

Approximately 100 children participated enthusiastically in the shivir. The program was conducted with the active involvement of five teachers, including the principal, along with five dedicated young volunteers from the Ashrama.
